Carson Allen Snyder, Jr.

Carson A. Snyder, Jr., 63, of Mt. Pleasant Mills, entered eternal rest on Monday, January 12, 2026, at his home with his loving family by his side.

Carson was born on September 21, 1962, in Sunbury, a son of Nancy (Snyder) Brugger and her husband Paul and the late Carson A. Snyder, Sr. On October 6, 2012, he married his loving wife, Connie (Sensenig) Snyder.

Carson retired from PennDOT after 35 years as an operator working on bridges and plowing snow. He enjoyed hunting, and, in his retirement, he enjoyed scrapping, working part-time for Susquehanna Township, hauling black top, and especially, helping people.

His most favorite thing in life was being with his precious family and his loving cat, Thumper.

In addition to his wife, Connie and his mother, Nancy and her husband Paul, Carson is survived by his sons, Justin Snyder, Brandon Snyder, Kyle Snyder, Bradley Knouse and his wife Kat Carpenter, and Avery Knouse; daughter, Amber Stahl and her husband Ryan; grandchildren, Preston Swartz, Brandon Snyder, Jr., Brantley Snyder, and Aubree Snyder; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Millie Immel; siblings, Terrie Witmer and her husband Darrell, Tammie Snyder, and Douglas Brugger and his wife Barbara; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Martin and her husband Randy and Michelle Wing and her husband Chris; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in passing by his father and brother, Donald Snyder.

A visitation will be held with Connie and family on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 3:00 p.m. at River Church of Juniata County, 105 CJEMS Lane, Mifflintown, PA 17059, with Pastor Bob Landis and Pastor Randy Martin officiating.
