Bell
Feb 2, 1966 — Sep 30, 2026
Liverpool
Corey L. Bell, 60, of Liverpool, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
He was born February 2, 1966, in Lemoyne, a son of Charles H. Bell and the late Sandra K. (Hall) Bell. On January 25, 2020, he married Donna L. (Deppen) Bell, who survives.
Corey was a 1984 graduate of Newport High School and obtained his bachelor’s degree from Millersville University in 1990.
He worked as a teacher at Newport School District for 20 years, where he was also a wrestling coach. Over the years, he also worked as an EMT and within the modular home-building industry.
Corey was a proud member of the Liverpool American Legion Post 364, Millerstown Moose, and Snyder County Pool League.
He had a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, and shooting pool. On most occasions, if you saw Corey, his beloved dog and constant companion, Tink, was not far from his side. She was his faithful sidekick and held a very special place in his life.
Corey will be remembered for his helpful nature, his many talents and interests, his service to others, his love of the outdoors, his love of his family and friends, and the companionship he shared with Tink. His memory will remain with the many people whose lives he touched.
In addition to his father and loving wife, Corey is survived by two step-sons, Derrick “Porky” Cook and his wife McKenzie, and Kevin Cook; one step-grandson, Jace Smeltz; one brother and sister-in-law, Dana and Mindy Bell; one sister and brother-in-law, Clarissa and Kurt Nace; one niece, Crystall Bell; and one nephew, Jacob Nace.
A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
