Edna E. Feltman, 85, formerly of Millerstown, joined her family in Heaven on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.
She was born May 23, 1940, in Richfield, a daughter of the late Howard S. and Mary Ellen (Pyle) Shellenberger. On May 24, 1957, she married Robert Lee Feltman, who preceded her in death October 27, 2005.
Edna attended Middleburg High School.
She devoted many years to childcare, working as a babysitter for local families.
Edna was a faithful member of St. Peter’s Community Church, Millerstown, where she was part of the women’s guild. She was also a member of the Richfield Faith Support Group.
She enjoyed volunteering at “Share & Care”, cooking, and visiting with friends and family.
Edna is survived by two daughters-in-law, Barbara Feltman of Millerstown, and Betsy Feltman of Middleburg; one son-in-law, David Jacobs of Thompsontown; four grandchildren, Shawn Feltman and his wife, Londa, Seth Feltman and his wife, Brandy, Elijah Feltman and his fiancé, Kimburley, and Aleah Graybill and her husband, Brent; five great-grandchildren, Adalyn M. Feltman, Clara F. Feltman, Zeah E. Farley, Levi Feltman, and Dale Feltman; two great-great-grandchildren, Kason J. Farley and Annalaine J. Farley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The last of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband; her three children, Dale E. Feltman, Michael L. Feltman, and Tina V. Jacobs; two brothers, Rev. Lloyd Shellenberger and Boyd Shellenberger; and two sisters, Dorothy Brubaker and Florence Benner.
Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at St. Peter’s Community Church, 32 St. Peters Rd., Millerstown, PA 17062, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Brittin Stimeling officiating.
Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Edna requested that memorial donations be made to Gideons International, P.O. Box 91, Mifflintown, PA 17059, or to St. Peter’s Community Cemetery, C/O Clinton Spade, 1138 Quaker Run Rd., Richfield, PA 17086.
