Grace Sylvia Sloyer-Kreiner

Grace Sylvia Sloyer-Kreiner, 91, formerly of Freeburg, entered into rest on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.

She was born September 11, 1934, in Elkton, Maryland, a daughter of the late Rev. John D. and Clara (McNamee) Tubbs.

Grace was a 1952 graduate of Shamokin Area High School and attended the Bible Institute of Green Lane.

She worked as a bank teller at M&T Bank for 37 years before retiring.

Grace was a member of the Ladies Group in Freeburg.

She enjoyed caring for her late first husband, Rev. Roscoe J. Sloyer, and spending time with her family.

Grace is survived by her children and their spouses, Diane and Warren Lamborn of Dover, Delaware, and John and Michele Sloyer of Milton; 6 grandchildren, Christine Grace Sloyer, Danielle J. Sloyer, Nathan J. Sloyer, Steven W. Lamborn, Susanne M. Lamborn, and Stacey M. Lamborn; 4 great-grandchildren, Isaiah J. Stoddard, Olivia A. Sloyer, Lucas R. Sloyer, and Caroline P. Lamborn; a sister, Janet Peck and her husband, Lonnie; and a brother, Jonathan Tubbs.

In addition to her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by her second husband, Michael Kreiner; a son, Daniel A. Sloyer; a granddaughter, Amber M. Sloyer; and a sister, Roberta Weaver.

Burial will be private in Fairview Cemetery, Freeburg.
