Harold "Bill" W. Ferguson

Harold “Bill” W. Ferguson, 72, of Thompsontown, entered into rest Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at home.

He was born January 4, 1953, in Thompsontown, a son of the late Warren and Emma (Cramer) Ferguson. On June 26, 1976, he married the former Lana Street, who survives.

Bill was a 1973 graduate of Greenwood High School.

He worked on the family farm, Ferguson Acres, and did paving and roadwork.

Bill was a member of Turkey Valley United Methodist Church.

He enjoyed hunting, farming, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife of 48 years, Bill is survived by two daughters, Tammy St. John of Mifflintown, and Carey Leach of Port Royal; two granddaughters, Brittany St. John and Madison Leach, both of Port Royal; one sister, Fay Troutman and her husband Dale of Thompsontown; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Russell “Bucky” Ferguson; and one nephew, Russell Ferguson, Jr.

Family and friends are welcome from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, May 5, 2025, and 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Turkey Valley United Methodist Church, 13606 Route 235, Millerstown, PA 17062, where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Wyatt Taylor officiating.

Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery, Millerstown.
