Harvey H. Feltman, 84, of Mt. Pleasant Mills, entered into rest Thursday, May 15, 2025, at home surrounded by family.
He was born June 28, 1940, in Richfield, a son of the late Henry R. and Grace (Womer) Feltman. On June 28, 1958, he married the former Patricia M. Kerstetter, who survives.
Harvey was a 1958 graduate of East Juniata High School.
He was employed as an electrician at Zimmer Homes, and a laborer at Taylor Wharton Steel Mill.
Harvey was a lay leader at the United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant Mills and later, a member of Arbogast Lutheran Church, where he taught Sunday School.
He enjoyed reading the newspaper, doing word-finds, hunting, watching the Philadelphia Phillies, Nascar races, football, listening to blue grass music, traveling, his horse Queen, attending “Coffee & Conversation” at the church, and spending time with his large, extended family.
Harvey was a very gregarious person who loved people and could converse with anyone he met, he leaves behind many friends.
In addition to his beloved wife of 66 years, he is survived by five children, Dale Feltman, Debbie (Feltman) Neitz, Vincent Feltman and his wife Robin, Roger Feltman and his wife Angela, and Wendy (Feltman) Holderman and her husband Jeff; 6 grandchildren, Valerie Hargrove, Cary Feltman, Levi Feltman, Tanisha Heintzelman, Paige Young, and Devin Holderman; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Harvey was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Elroy Neitz; a daughter-in-law, Carla Feltman; two grandsons, Jason and Jesse Neitz; and three siblings, Bruce Feltman, and twins in infancy, Ruth and Russell Feltman.
Family and friends are welcome from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Arbogast Lutheran Church, 456 Arbogast Church Rd., Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA 17853, where a funeral will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Nick Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
