Helen M. Dressler

Helen M. Dressler, 89, of Richfield, entered into rest on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Hershey Medical Center.

She was born August 29, 1936, in Harrisburg, a daughter of the late Earl C. and Anna Elizabeth (Seibert) Evans. On June 26, 1955, she married Richard “Rich” F. Dressler, Sr., who preceded her in death October 14, 2015.

Helen was a 1953 graduate of William Penn High School.

She was corporate secretary and co-owner of Dressler’s Campsites, Liverpool from 1967 to 2001. She was also a secretary at Lesh Motors, Newport.

Helen attended Liverpool United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed crafting, playing cards with her friends, reading, gardening, traveling, baking, and spending time at the family cabin.

Helen is survived by two sons and a daughter, Rick F., Jr. and Martha J. Dressler of Liverpool, Keith A. Dressler of Liverpool, and Lori R. and Alan L. Amey of Millerstown; nine grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer) Travitz, Lauren (Dane) Youtz, Justin Dressler, Chelsea (Nicholas) Nastasi, Paige (Dustin) Yost, Evan (Cindy) Lower, Carmen (Stephen) Dressler, Barbara (Kyle) Dressler, and Michael (Grace) Dressler; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Earl “Jack” (Helen) Evans, and James “Jim” Evans; and her aunt and best friend, Ann Tyler.

In addition to her parents and her husband of 60 years, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Jerry Evans; two brothers-in-law, Palmer (Evelyn) Dressler and Thomas (Sharon) Dressler; and one sister-in-law, Patsy (Carson) Howell.

Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Liverpool United Methodist Church, 113 S. Market St., Liverpool, PA 17045, where a funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Robert Basom officiating.

Burial will follow in Liverpool Union Cemetery.
