Isaac D. Fogleman

Isaac D. Fogleman, 86, of Mt. Pleasant Mills, entered into rest Friday, May 2, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born November 30, 1938, in Duncannon, a son of the late William and Grace (Cornelius) Fogleman. He married the former Janet Klinger, who preceded him in death February 5, 2025.

Isaac worked as a painter for Triangle Pacific until his retirement. After retirement, he worked part time for Mark Apple Orchards.

He was a member of the River Church of Juniata County and the Carpenter’s Union.

Isaac enjoyed fishing and gardening in his younger years.

He is survived by two daughters, Dodie Goodling of Newport and Carolyn Stemler of Liverpool; 8 grandchildren, Raeleenia Lehman, Angel Peugh, Preston Goodling, Kelsey Dietz, Sierra Groninger, Tiffany Lehman, Jenna Peters, and Nathan Peters; four great-grandchildren, Braelynn Lehman, Lincoln Dietz, Bryce Carlson, and Isaac Carlson; and one sister, Audrey Seiler.

In addition to his parents and his beloved wife, Isaac was preceded in death by two daughters, Jody Gibson and Linda Colyer; and six siblings, William Fogleman, Oscar Fogleman, Arlene McCollam, Violet Williams, Jessie Campbell, and Eunice Lightner.

Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 to 11:00a.m., Friday, May 9, 2025, at George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA 17853, where a funeral service will be conducted at 11:00a.m., with Pastor Robert Landis officiating. The family invites you to honor Isaac and wear your Penn State gear to the service.

Burial will follow in Lost Creek Mennonite Church Cemetery, where Isaac and Janet will be laid to rest together.
