Kathy J. Heimbach

Kathy J. Heimbach, 64, of Selinsgrove, went to Heaven to be with her twin baby sons on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at home.

She was born February 14, 1961, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Robert S. Kerstetter and the late Shirley Ann (Flowers) Kerstetter. On August 23, 1986, she married Barth Heimbach, her best friend.

Kathy worked as a lab technician at Middleburg Yarn in Selinsgrove. Earlier in life, she worked at William F. Groce, Inc. Silk Mill, where she met her husband.

She enjoyed flowers, loving her family, especially her grandchildren, reading her Bible, praying the Rosary every day, and “the Peanuts,” especially Snoopy. She made the best ham pot pie and took pride in homeschooling all her children.

Kathy was a very hard worker and was an amazing, devoted mom, Gamy, Gaga, and wife.

In addition to her husband of 39 years and her father, she is survived by her children, Jennifer (Randy) Dunn, Lindsey (Jarrod) Newman, Barth A. Heimbach, Jr., Katelynn Heimbach and her fiancé, Dominic Dixon, Michael Gabriel Raphael Heimbach; 7 grandchildren, Lance, Kayley, Marshall, Violet, Malcolm, Nico, Navi, and one on the way, Miles; one great-grandson, Cyrus; and her siblings, Carol Walter and her companion, Mark Schreck, Andy (Brenda) Kerstetter, and Steve Kerstetter.

In addition to her mother, Kathy was preceded in death by her twin sons, Peter and Paul; and one sister, Kelly Drum.

Family and friends are welcome to attend the funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025, at George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA 17853.

Burial will follow in Arbogast Lutheran Church Cemetery.
