Lauren Elizabeth Pardoe, born on July 29, 2000, was a bright light that lived her life with a song in her heart and laughter that could fill a room. She passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of music, kindness, and sense of humor that was uniquely hers.
Known for her delightfully goofy personality, she never took life too seriously and had the rare gift of making people smile even on their hardest days. Though she struggled with her own mental health, she would always take it upon herself to be the comic relief in all situations. Her infectious laugh was a song of its own, a sound so full of joy that you couldn’t help but join in.
Music was Lauren’s heartbeat. She had a voice that could capture the beauty and depth of the world around her. Whether she was performing for a crowd or singing to herself, her music was a reflection of her soul --- pure, powerful, and deeply moving. Those lucky enough to have heard her sing will always carry those notes within them.
A 2019 graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School, Lauren leaves behind friends and family that loved her deeply. Lauren is survived by her loving parents Leanna Lengel and husband Walt Teats, her biological father, William Pardoe, Jr., sisters Jenna N. Pardoe and fiancé Clark Kratzer of Port Trevorton and Aubrianna Lengel at home, maternal grandfather Richard Lengel, and paternal grandfather Willam Pardoe, Sr. as well as grieving extended family.
She was preceded in death by grandmothers Connie Lengel and Janet Pardoe. She also has a small circle of friends who are better for having known her. Though her voice has fallen silent, the harmony of her love and the echoes of her laughter continue to resonate in the hearts of all who loved her.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA 17853.
