Mae V. Reigle, 101, formerly of Paxtonville, entered into rest on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.
She was born May 13, 1924, in McAlisterville, a daughter of the late Elmer and Sadie (Varner) Naylor. On June 29, 1951, she married the love of her life, Charles William “Bill” Reigle, Jr., who preceded her in death June 28, 2023.
During World War II, Mae worked in Carlisle, for the government, sewing hospital tents together. She also helped at Reigle’s Turkey Farm, and later worked at Middleburg Yarn, manufacturing silk.
She enjoyed needlepoint, quilting, public sales, collecting dishes, and growing roses.
Mae is survived by many nieces and nephews; one sister; and her special friend of many years, Deborah Shambach.
In addition to her parents and her husband of 72 years, Mae was preceded in death by a son, Zane Richard Naylor; and 13 siblings.
Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 18, 2025, at George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA 17853, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Brittin Stimeling officiating.
Burial will follow in Paxtonville Cemetery.
