Maxine Mae Losch, 89, of Mifflintown, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Brookline Manor.
Maxine was born on April 25, 1937, in Millerstown, a daughter of the late Clarence Treaster and Blanche (Glace) Smith.
She attended Greenwood High School and earlier in life she attended the Lutheran church in Thompsontown.
Her early employment was running errands for Losch’s Furniture and Carpet. She later was employed as a nurses aide and as a food server.
Maxine enjoyed playing bingo at area Mooses, and taking special care of pets.
She is survived by her children, Eugene “Gene” Losch and his wife Beverly, James Losch and his wife Pamela, and Teresa Clark; grandchildren, Colby Losch, Morgan Losch, Michael Clark, Jason Clark, Justin Bubb, and Amanda Bubb; step-grandson, Derck Smith; and great-grandchildren, Clyde Losch, Mena Clark, Riley Snyder, Ashlynn Berrier, and Justice Turnbaugh.
In addition to her parents, Maxine is preceded in passing by her daughter, Deborah Bubb; grandson, Corey Losch; siblings, Carl Treaster and Max Treaster at a young age; and her companion Jessie Fultz.
There will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in loving memory of Maxine may be made to the Perry County Animal Rescue, 379 Sugar Run Road, Millerstown, PA 17062.
