Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA

With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of Meghaan Yates-Opdyke, who left this world on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the age of 42.

Meghaan was born on July 22,1983, in Levittown, Pennsylvania. From the very beginning, she carried a vibrant energy that could not be ignored. She brought light, laughter and yes, on occasion, a few headaches to those lucky enough to know her. Known for her kind heart, strong will, and quick wit, Meghaan had a rare gift, she could walk into a room and instantly make it brighter. Her humor was sharp, her presence bold, and her love for the people around her unmistakable.

Meghaan was strong-minded and fiercely loyal. She stood her ground when it mattered and loved with her whole heart. She believed in speaking her mind, protecting the people she cared about, and finding laughter even in life’s difficult moments. Her resilience and determination shaped the way she lived with passion, honesty, and an undeniable spark.

Throughout her life, Meghaan was deeply passionate about her work and took pride in everything she did. She had a special place in her heart for animals, showing compassion and care that reflected the gentleness within her. Whether caring for pets, supporting loved ones, or giving her all in her professional life, she poured herself into the things that mattered most.

Family was the center of Meghaan’s world. She cherished time spent together whether it was gathering around the dinner table sharing stories and laughter, planning vacations to Florida, or simply enjoying quiet, ordinary days that meant the most. She understood that life’s true treasures were found in those simple, meaningful moments. The memories created during those times will forever be held close by those who loved her.

Meghaan is lovingly remembered by her husband Steve Opdyke, daughter Madison Wilson, Mother Wendy Yates, father Don Yates, Grandfather Jim Liberty, grandmother Jackie Liberty, Brother Taylor Yates, and many extended family members and friends. Her love for them was fierce and unwavering, and the bond she shared with each of them was unique and deeply personal. She leaves behind a family forever changed by her love, strengthened by her lessons, and united by her memory.

Her legacy is one of love, strength, laughter, and devotion. Meghaan taught those around her to be bold, to stand firm, and to love deeply. Her laughter will echo in our hearts, her wisdom will guide our steps, and her love will remain a steady presence in our lives. Though her time here was far too short, the impact she made will last a lifetime.

A visitation where family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a memorial service to begin at 2:00 p.m. at the George P.
