Michael E. Hoover

Michael “Mike” E. Hoover, 59, of Easton, entered into rest on Monday, December 8, 2025, at The Gardens at Easton.

He was born August 30, 1966, in Sunbury, a son of the late Larry D. and Barbara E. (Varner) Hoover.

Mike was a 1985 graduate of East Juniata High School.

He began his own logging business right out of high school, Hoover’s Logging.

Mike was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Millerstown.

He enjoyed cowboy movies, rock-climbing machines, welding, riding snowmobiles and four-wheelers, watching racing, and being outdoors.

Mike is survived by three children, Joshua Hoover and his wife, Christie, of Selinsgrove, Ezra Hoover of Mifflintown, and Gabrielle Hoover of Mifflintown; two grandchildren, Isabella and Isaac; four sisters, Pamela Hoover and her companion, Albert Brouse, of Richfield, Angela Horning and her companion, James Bisset, of Richfield, Crystal Huffnagle and her husband, Troy, of Richfield, and Melissa Campbell of Mt. Pleasant Mills; and one aunt, Shirley Varner.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Faith Lutheran Church, 161 Dressler Ridge Road, Millerstown, PA 17062, beginning at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Paul Kampa officiating.
