Nancy Louise Glass, 86, of Middleburg, entered into rest on Monday, June 15, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born January 31, 1940, in Paxtonville, a daughter of the late George Dewey Kuhns and Mary (Yeisley) Walters Kuhns Lenig. On February 14, 1956, she married Gerald Allen Glass, who survives.
Nancy attended Middleburg High School.
She was a dedicated homemaker and great cook, but she also owned and operated her own craft business for over 20 years, Snyder County Dutch Creations. She also worked in food service at Susquehanna University and the Lamppost Restaurant.
Nancy enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking, baking, lending a listening ear for others when they needed it, and supporting her family, whether that meant attending their sporting events and plays or babysitting her grandchildren.
In addition to her beloved husband of 70 years, she is survived by three children, Wade Glass and his companion, Ruby, Wanda Kantz and her husband, Paul, and Stacy Hostetter and her husband, Jason; four grandchildren, Michael Glass, Hunter Kantz and his wife, Katie, Miranda Lauver and her husband, Tyler, and Evelyn Hostetter; one brother, Donald Kuhns and his companion, Patty; two brothers-in-law, Franklin and Carson Glass; one sister-in-law, Carolyn Snyder and her husband, John; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by a son at the age of 19, Terry Lee Glass; two brothers, Harold and George Kuhns; and a special uncle, Robert Kuhns.
Family and friends are welcome from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 22, 2026, at George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA 17853, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., with Pastors Jason and Rick Hostetter officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Freeburg.
