Robert “Dusty” Baker, 51, of Freeburg, entered into rest unexpectedly on Friday, January 2, 2026.
He was born March 26, 1974, in Sunbury, a son of Robert S. Baker and Cynthia (Mook) Romig.
Dusty was a graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School.
He was a hard worker and ran his own business, Baker Custom Decks.
Dusty enjoyed riding his custom-built Jalapeño chopper with family and friends to bike shows and winning numerous trophies with it. He also enjoyed pro-stock racing, hunting with his Pappy Butch, cooking, watching football on Funday Sunday with the “Freeburg boys” at the “Porch Monkey Pub” (PMP), and getting together with his friends and family.
In addition to his parents, he leaves behind his beloved girlfriend, Jess Naylor, and her children, Blaise and Marissa Lauver; his mother’s companion, Grant Willow; his step-mother, Kristine Baker; his maternal grandmother, Betty Spriggle; an uncle, Allen Mook; and many cousins.
Dusty was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Richard “Butch” Spriggle, Sr., in 2017, and Albert Mook in 2020; an uncle, Russell Mook in 2021; and his dog, Boozer.
A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
