Roger D. Heintzelman

Roger D. Heintzelman, 62, of Richfield, entered into rest unexpectedly on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

He was born September 6, 1963, in Lewisburg, a son of Darlene M. (Swartz) Heintzelman and the late Carl L. Heintzelman. On May 2, 1987, he married the former Wendy Miller, who survives.

Roger was a graduate of Middleburg High School and Sun Area Technical Institute, where he studied to be a diesel mechanic.

He worked various jobs throughout his life, including for Kuhns Brothers Lumber Company, at Wood Mode as a boiler operator, and most recently, as a maintenance boss at the Selinsgrove Center.

Roger was a member of Dressler’s Ridge Church and several different archery organizations.

He enjoyed hunting, archery, fishing, walking his dogs, and reading his bible.

In addition to his mother and his beloved wife, Roger is survived by two daughters, Heidi Heintzelman and her companion, Paul Nace, and Megan Dincher and her husband, Shaun; four siblings, Barry Heintzelman and his wife, Tracy, Crystal Breya and her husband, Joe, Dean Heintzelman, and Alma Hupp and her husband, Ray, Jr.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Ruth Miller; numerous nieces and nephews; and three furbabies, Freya, Roscoe, and Pepper.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Stacy Heintzelman; and two dogs, Trixie and Patches.

Family and friends are welcome from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Christian Union Church, 5230 Route 104, Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA 17853, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Andy Bucke and Pastor Rob Paire officiating.
