Roger A. Winterborne, 84, of Liverpool, entered into rest on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at home surrounded by his family.

He was born September 16, 1941, in Philadelphia, a son of the late Charles and Mary (Hipple) Winterborne. On December 3, 1966, he married the former Dawn Trapnell of Lancaster, who preceded him in death May 31, 2013.

Roger was an avid motorcycle rider and had many adventures on his Harley or Indian with his children and friends. He also enjoyed cars, spending time with family, and listening to oldies music. Most times he could be seen with a cup of black coffee in his hand. He was known as a kind, generous man who was devoted to those he loved and always willing to go above and beyond to help.

He is survived by ten children, Julie Winterborne, Cindy Hissick, Jeff Winterborne and his wife, Valerie, Ron Winterborne and his wife, Julie, Margie Morales and her husband, JR, Trudy Winterborne and her husband, Christian, Jerry Winterborne, Jocie Winterborne, Janelle Henson and her husband, Tomie, and Ryan Winterborne; 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters-in-law, Joan Winterborne and Marcia Smith.

In addition to his parents and his loving wife, Roger was preceded in death by 9 siblings; and a granddaughter in infancy, Kayla Moreno.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Roger’s name can be made to the Harrisburg Christian School, 2000 Blue Mountain Pkwy, Harrisburg, PA 17112.
