Rosemary Hendricks

Rosemary Hendricks, 94, of Selinsgrove, entered into rest Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove.

She was born October 10, 1930, in Port Trevorton, a daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Campbell) Heintzelman. In 1950, she married Leroy F. Hendricks, Sr., who preceded her in death March 10, 1991.

Rosemary attended school in Port Trevorton.

She devoted many years of her life working in the kitchen at Susquehanna University, until her retirement.

Rosemary was a member of Witmer’s United Methodist Church, Port Trevorton.

She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, mowing her yard, going for walks, Sunday drives, and picnics.

Rosemary is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Leroy Hendricks, Jr. of Selinsgrove, Dale and Linda Hendricks of Mt. Pleasant Mills, Timothy and Sue Hendricks of Selinsgrove, and Thomas and Sue Hendricks of Selinsgrove; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Virginia Aucker, and Keith and Linda Wolf; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, she was preceded in death by one grandson; one granddaughter; one great-great-granddaughter in infancy; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Reno and Eudalia Heintzelman, George and Treva Heintzelman, Charles and Shirley Heintezelman; one daughter-in-law, Sharon Hendricks; her father and mother-in-law, John and Emma Hendricks; two brothers-in-law, Norton and Lester (JoAnne) Hendricks; and three sisters-in-law, Verna (Francis) Wolf, Mary (Lester) Shaffer, and Dorothy (Everett) Bolig.

Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 to 11:00a.m., Friday, September 5, 2025, at George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA 17853, where a funeral service will be conducted at 11:00a.m.

Burial will follow in Witmer’s Memorial Cemetery, Port Trevorton.
