Ruth Ann Rapp

Ruth A. Rapp, 80, of Mt. Pleasant Mills, entered into rest on June 15th, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on May 16th, 1945, at her Meme’s home in Liverpool, PA.

She was the daughter of the late Myron J. Landis and Martha (Straub) Landis. On February 18th, 1964, she married the late William C. Rapp, who preceded her in death on May 31st, 2025, which broke a marital union of 61 years.

Ruth Ann worked many years at Middleburg Yarn Processing Co. in Selinsgrove, until health issues would no longer allow her to work.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and her two pets, Bo and Bella. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and talking to her friends.

She is survived by three children, a son, Christopher; a daughter, Staci (Rick) Leach; a son, Chad (Tarri); four grandchildren, Craig Ferry, Ben (Katrina) Ferry, Kyle (Shelby) Rapp, and Isaiah Rapp; three great-grandchildren, Oakley Rapp, Declynn Rapp, and Spencer Ferry; a sister, Bonnie Goff; and a brother, Carlton Landis.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherri Linn; and five siblings, Cathy Landis, Richard Landis, Lorraine (Landis) Lauver, Donald Landis, and Terry Landis.

Services will be private, with burial at Arbogast Lutheran Church Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Mills.
