Teddy “Ted” Evan Mack, 80, of Muncy, entered into rest on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born April 30, 1945, in Nevada City, California, a son of the late Ralph A. and Ruth J. (Kemper) Mack. On July 3, 1971, he married the former Shirley Varner, who survives. His passing breaks a marital union of 54 years.
Ted was a graduate of Nevada Union Senior High School in Grass Valley, California. He then attended International Bible College for several years.
He worked at Construction Specialties in Muncy, for 28 years, in the shipping department. After retirement, he worked on FedEx trucks with his son, as a maintenance mechanic for 14 years, until September 2025.
Ted was a member of New Covenant Assembly of God Church, Montgomery for the last 43 years.
He was a quiet man who loved God’s word and his family. He was a true follower of Jesus Christ and he lived what he believed. He also loved nature and taking walks.
In addition to his beloved wife, Ted is survived by two sons, Randy Evan Mack and his wife, Michelle, and Nathan Lynn Mack; 4 grandsons, Seth Mack and his wife, Kaitlin, and their son Jackson, Shawn Mack and his wife, Cassandra, with a baby girl expected June 5, 2026, Brett Mack, and Benjamin Mack; two sisters, Celia Butler, Edith Cartwright; one brother, Arlen Mack; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Delbert, Leroy, and Phillip; and one sister, Dorothy.
Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 2026, at New Covenant Assembly of God, 1270 Pinchtown Road, Montgomery, PA 17752, where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. James Pentz officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ted’s name can be made to the Missions Department of New Covenant Assembly of God, 1270 Pinchtown Road, Montgomery, PA 17752.
