Thomas “Tommy” W. Pyle, Jr. 53, of Liverpool, entered into rest on Friday, June 5, 2026, at home, surrounded by his family.

He was born March 23, 1973, in Upper Darby, a son of Roxie J. (Frey) Hughes and the late Thomas W. Pyle, Sr. On June 20, 1998, he married the former Tara A. Witmer, who survives.

Tommy was a 1991 graduate of East Juniata High School.

He ran a ceramic tile business with his father for many years before working in sales at Quality Stone.

Tommy had a craft for building houses and enjoyed playing cards, riding motorcycle, playing bingo, shopping for the best deals, and spending time with his family, especially attending his children’s sporting events.

In addition to his mother and his wife of 27 years, he is survived by two children and their spouses, Madelyn and Seth Ferguson, and Thomas Pyle, III and Isabel Machorro-Pyle, all of Liverpool; 2 grandchildren, Tate and Millie Ferguson; one sister and brother-in-law, Mena and Eric Noll; four nephews, Bryce Noll, Trenton Noll, Chance Allen, and Chase Allen; one brother-in-law, Maynard Shope; his mother’s companion, Timothy Campbell; and step-mother, Sherry Pyle.

In addition to his father, Tommy was preceded in death by a sister, Melanie Shope.

A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
