Wendy Brubaker, 74, of Shermans Dale and formerly of Hummels Wharf, died on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at her home.

Born on June 15, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Robert Sherwood Wagner and Mary Anna (Keister) Wagner.  On August 28, 1965, she married Donald L. Brubaker who survives.  Together, they celebrated 58 years of marriage.

Wendy worked at The Dutch Pantry and Perkins in Hummels Wharf, the Commonwealth of PA at Selinsgrove Center in Selinsgrove, and the PA Department of Aging in Harrisburg from which she retired.

She enjoyed country music, going to concerts, embroidering, and crocheting.  Wendy was an avid reader, and she enjoyed traveling and had the honor of sleeping in all 50 States.

Wendy attended Northside Baptist Church in Carlisle.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sheri Brubaker of Milton, PA; one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Michael Judy of Duncannon, PA; sisters, Marion J. Murray and husband Jay of South Carolina, Carol Loss and husband Donald of North Carolina, Joan Hauck and husband Paul of Danville, PA, and Joyce Vanemon-Forrest and husband Chester Forrest, III, of New Berlin, PA; several grandchildren; step-grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Wendy is preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn; a son, Barry; and three brothers, Robert, Harold, and Randy Wagner.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 606 N. Front Street, Liverpool, PA 17045, with Pastor Douglas Farrow officiating.

Interment will immediately follow in Susquehanna Mennonite Cemetery, Port Trevorton.

In lieu of flowers, Wendy has kindly requested memorial contributions in her memory be made to Northside Baptist Church, 400 Cornman Road, Carlisle, PA 17013.
